Sorry everyone, I am late with the Halloween greetings. But since it has passed I will give you a quick rundown of what occurred that day and what I have been up to. It has been a while since I have actually been in the country for Halloween so I was so excited to be here in Florida, get dressed up, decorate the house, and pass out candy. Matt was dressed as Michael Myers and scared a lot of the kids in the neighborhood. Halloween is supposed to be scary and full of surprises but maybe it was a little too much for some of the little ones in the community, but oh well. I was dressed as Little Bo Peep. It is one of my favorite costumes since my mom helped me put it together. I couldn’t find my blond wig before I left California but ended up buying a good one here. I also couldn’t ship my pole with me so Matt helped me make one, boy was painting it messy. So now to the decorating, we bought giant spider webs and stretched them among our front bushes along with some blinking eyes that we thought would be fun. We had also purchased a strobe light and fog machine to add to the effect while scary music played in the background. It was so fun!!! Our main goal was to get rid of all the candy before the night was over. Mission accomplished! Now it is back to training for the upcoming season. Matt is healing great and ready to start playing again. I keep getting stronger every week. I have a few pictures of me training on our speed treadmill that goes up to 23 mph and can go to extreme upgrades. I am progressing well. This week I am excited to be heading back to a Panthers hockey game and to visit some of my fellow volleyballers at Deerfield. Have a great rest of the week…...

Wow Misty! You went all out on your costume and it looked fantastic. I especially liked the blonde wig. Great to see you improving so well. I can’t wait to see you back in action with Kerri, if that is your desire. Take it easy and Godspeed on the recovery.

First of all let me say your costume is very cute. I got to hand out candy for the first time in some years myself. My daughter decided to have a party this year instead of trick or treating so I actually got to stay home. We decorated our house too. We put a graveyard outside and scary stuff throughout the house. One of the highlights was the kids doing the Thriller Zombie dance ( like its from their generation, lol). Being how I couldn’t stand back and watch I had to join in as a giant Deviled Egg (my costume). Anyway I’m glad you got to have some fun this year. That treadmill looks intense cant wait to see ya play next year. Take care and much love to you and your family (Matt, Boogie and Gruden).
