I played against you in college ball, and even remember watching you play at JO’s. :-) We’re the same age and my team nicknamed me Misty May in college b/c I was a hitter recruited and trained as a setter. Didn’t turn out so hot for me! You were my inspiration before you had a website and gold medals! I have now moved away from sports and into a new chapter of my life…being a mom. As you move into these new journeys I wish you the best of luck. Your wonderful spirit and drive are inspiring little girls everywhere to follow their dreams. And I can bet that becoming a mom yourself one day will trump that gold medal! Good luck

Congratulations on your win in Bejing; it was so exciting watching you and Kerri. I have a 10 year old daughter, Hailey who plays volleyball and is a big fan of yours. She has a school project that involves writing a letter to someone she looks up to for advice and she has chosen you. Is there a PO box that she can address her letter to? Thank you so much!

So the AVP site has this contest to see who would win If we cloned you and Kerri and you had to play against yourselves….Well my answer to that would have to be YOU. However the way I see it is you and Kerri compliment one another…its like the Ying and Yang…both sides need to be there. Hence why you girls are the #1 team in the world :) ha haaa.
But seeing as you dominate in kills and digs (hence #1 defensive player in the world) and are also great on the blocks, it think you would slightly be one up ;)
Perfect example would be todays match against Boss/Ross. AWESOME match! Keep up the great work girls and best of luck against EY/Branagh today in the finals. Win or lose….still and will always be #1!!!!!!!
See you both next wkend in Manhattan….CANT WAIT!!!

I took my daughter and 5 ofher friends to watch you play in SF today on the Crocs AVP Tour. We were absolutely delighted you gave my daughter your signed headband from the match. You are so kind and patient with all your fans. Very commendable for a world class athlete like you. We really enjoyed watching you play. Hey Misty….Have been a fan of the show for 2 yrs now and cant wait to see you and Maks dance your hearts out on the stage. Not too sure why you are surprised you are on the show….The show would be lucky to have someone like you :)
No worries about doing a great job because you always seem to do an amazing job in whatever you set your mind to.
The heels can be a killer, but you’ll pull it off.
Cant wait for sept 22nd. Also looking forward to seeing you and Kerri in a couple wks on the beach in what will be a GREAT tourny I am sure.

Hey Misty! Great job in Beijing! You and Kerri are my biggest fans in v-ball now. i just tried out for my schools volleyball team. i made it last year so im hoping ill make it again this year!
